1 Year Long Global Competition
Way to Go
Description: "It is a walk in the woods. It is an astonishing interactive experience, a restless panorama, a mixture of hand-made animation, 360 video capture, music, dreaming and code; but mostly it is a walk in the wood, c'mon."

Reactions from the winner:
"We are so happy and proud! Thank you to everyone who voted for Way to Go. I want to thank my incredible collaborators (Caroline Robert, Édouard Lanctôt-Benoit and Philippe Lambert) and also the wonderful National Film Board of Canada for their trust and support.
From the beginning in the early 2000s, the FWA has been a place where I could find other passionate people playing with the creative potential of interactivity. Over the years, the FWA has become a precious archive and timeline of what is great online.
Since making our submission to the FWA, we’ve released the webVR version of Way to Go. If you have an Oculus dev kit, plug in the headset and reload the site!

A few words from FWA Founder, Rob Ford:
"2015 was a year where we saw a renewed energy in interactive experiences. A year when I finally felt the web had moved forward from the Flash era. A year when we finally began to say WOW again.
Way To Go quite literally took the voting by storm, winning by a massive margin. It's no surprise that this happened as this truly immersive interactive experience which gives you, what feels like, your own persona as you take control of your own destination in this unforgettable walk in the woods.
The fact that this project has already evolved to now be a webVR project further underlines how forward thinking Vincent Morisset and team are and they managed to give us one of the most unforgettable experiences in recent years which makes me extremely happy that the public agreed and made this FWA People's Choice winner for 2015!"
