Aloha, I'm Mile Modic from Root. Born 11.07.1980 in Split, Croatia. I started this whole rootylicious stuff 2 years ago with my friends Eduard and Vink. Right now I'm working as a freelance designer, and I hope that this will last a few decades. :)

Watching , watching ..and watching .... everything....

  What do you regard as being your biggest achievement?

Urghh heavy question ....urghhh don't know .. I'll answer you on this in a few years.

  What projects do you have in the pipeline?

Right now I'm working with PlotUS on Sean John Collection 2002 site (also known as P.Diddy) and I have a few other projects that are still in progress.

  What area of web design lacks the most?

Virtual interaction.

  What software couldn't you live without?

I couldn't live without Macromedia Studio... 100%

  Who do you rate as being the top 3 design companies?

I like www.Fantasy-Interactive.com, www.2Advanced.com, and www.squarewave.us.

Don't know ...I think everyone who knows how to use a mouse :)

  What did your very first site look like? Is it still online?

UHH it looked awful ... it was made for my father, he's an interior designer ..and it really looked awful... I'm lucky that it's not online anymore :)

  Have you written any books, if not do you plan to?

No .. and I'll leave that to Stephen King ..

  What was the toughest thing you ever did with Flash?

It was rootylicious.studios' site. Right now I'm working on a few tough new projects.

  Do you think Flash is here to stay?

Why not ?

  How have you learned so many Flash/design skills and techniques and can you offer any advice for newbies?

Uhh that was really funny, I learned it from Flash Help (F1) because it was really a problem to get some Flash books in Croatia, and the internet connection was too expensive for me at that time.

And advice .. hmmm just do things how you like it and if you are good someone will notice you .. believe me ;)

  What type of overcoat do you wear when Flashing, basically are you a labels man?

hahaha ..labels! .. If fishermen are labels men than I'm 100% label ...

  Any parting shots or pearls of wisdom?

HUH...........The truth is out there ....hmmmm ... must check in the dictionary what that means.... LOL
