I don't know if a dinosaur like me can give advice about anything. I mean, so far I'm still using Flash 4! I have Flash 5 & Flash MX, but I'm more familiar with Flash 4. And so far, I can do what I need to do with Flash 4. So I'm sticking with it.

  Please give us a brief bio of yourself.

I'm a 28 y.o freelancer. Started working with Flash since version 4. I started out as a Web Designer (HTML stuffs) but now I work a lot with Flash. Currently most of my projects are Flash game projects.

I don't have a design degree. Actually, I have a business degree in Accounting (worked as an accountant for a year). ^_^

I'm married, and currently living with my wife in a small apartment in Fresno, CA.

  What do you do for inspiration?

Read some books (mostly comics), watch movies/cartoons.

At least for some years to come. Software keeps improving. There will always be something new.

No. No. I'm not good with words. And my technique is messy.

  What was the toughest thing you ever did with Flash? How long did you spend on it? Is it still online?

I think it was one of my games, Metal Armor. I don't have the patience in making levels for these kind of games. ^_^

  What area of web design lacks the most?

Color management.

Quite ugly. No.

For newbies, I'd suggest to check out Flashkit.com and Were-here.com . Those are the 2 sites that I visit regularly. There are lots of great programmers there willing to share their knowledge. Really helpful for me.

  What type of overcoat do you wear when Flashing, basically are you a labels man?

Overcoat? Don't have any. ^_^

Nah, I don't care much about anything I wear. But I do have a lot of Banana Republic's tees.
