I have 2 poetry books unpublished and I plan to write a philosophical novel when I get spare time, if I ever get some.
Male, born in 1976, autodidact, with love for music, design, programming and writing.
I usually study other people and their work. People are inspiring. When I do design I usually take screenshots and surf through my favorites and steal ideas (yeah I admit it) and remix them adding some of what I think they should be.
I like Wowwebdesigns.com , Linkdup.com and of course, FWA.
To be capable of sustaining my focus on anything I like, and to keep learning / improving in these areas.
Flash! I also use Photoshop and dreamweaver a lot, but flash is just for me. For music I love Cubase SX.

I am programming games for wireless phones. The J2ME language has an actionscript taste so I am doing well. I am also recording my first album (the songs play at superhere), working in more flash videos and some flash sites… all under heavy construction.
www.2advanced.com, www.Fantasy-Interactive.com and www.Ego7.com.
Superhere is getting around 25.000 hits daily, but I guess the Music Makers Network (MMN) and the RadioBeat will get a lot more.
Young minded people with positive attitude and a fresh vision of life.
HTML. It is dead and it should be pushed down.
It was crap… It was a demo for a company called Future Media Group, it had floating windows like the old 2advanced site. It's listed under the works / interactive section at superhere.
It was a game in "Monkey Island" style with inventory, multiple characters, dialog boxes, puzzles to solve, etc. It took me about 5 months and more than 10.000 lines of code. A company called Clase Inc. released it on CD.
If you ask me, Flash sucks when you try to build complex things, and I am always trying to. Flash is here to stay, but it should absorb some of the cool features of Director (like the 3d, the access to the system resources and the plugins) and to go even farther. We need to get rid of some silly limitations.
I didn’t go to school but sometimes I wish I had. Then I worked as a teacher for like two years and I found it sooo slow for the students. The Internet can give you all the information you need when you’re ready to get it. So, it depends on the school, teachers and classmates. You need a good mix but your own desire for success is still the most important thing. I think the perfect cocktail is going to a damn good school while you freelance.
Having a good website and a good presentation email to offer my services.
I learned all by myself, with a couple of books (Friends of Ed, they rule) and some FLAs I got from www.flashkit.com . After some months of practice I started teaching flash / actionscript in a local institute, and I learned a lot from my students questions. I wanted to write a book for novices some time ago, but instead I am publishing tutorials and source codes at superhere.
Argentinean chocolate. Uh I bought a powerful PC two weeks ago but it doesn’t count.
I work at home and I am usually naked.
Well, life takes time. Focus, practice, learn, and improve.
The privilege is mine, you guys rule. ![]() |
