I am a 28 years old and work for Fallon in Minneapolis, MN.

Before Fallon I worked at Carmichael Lynch for 3 years and focused mainly on Porsche.

Before Carmichael Lynch, I worked at a small agency called Periscope.

Before Periscope, I attended St. Olaf College.

Before that, I lived at home with my mom & dad.

  What do you do for inspiration?

I unwind with my family. Then get back at it.

  What do you regard as being your biggest achievement?

Being a good husband and father. Second to that, a CrossCountry All-American.

  What software couldn't you live without?

Photoshop, Flash, iTunes, Lotus Notes

  What projects do you have in the pipeline?

I have a wife who is pregnant and due in about 1 week. But after that, who knows?

  Who do you rate as being the top 3 design companies?

Logan, Psyop, Shilo (Notice how they are all motion? That is the future.)

  What area of web design lacks the most?

There are a lot of areas. But the web is changing so fast, each year has numerous areas.

  What did your very first site look like? Is it still online?

My first site was done for my art portfolio in college. Boy it was bad: Vertical, Centered, Scroll.

  Have you written any books, if not do you plan to?

I haven't written any books that have been published, per say.

  What was the toughest thing you ever did with Flash? How long did you spend on it? Is it still online?

Well, I am not really the Flash expert, so I will concede on this one.

  Do you think Flash is here to stay?

Yeah. I think Flash is kinda like Apple right now. No one is even competing in my eyes.

  What are your views on design/graphic school. Do you think someone can get into the field without educational experience in a school environment?

Oh yeah. I did. My classes in school were all fine art based. Most of what people learn is on their own, not in school.

  How have you learned so many Flash/design skills and techniques and can you offer any advice for newbies?

Keep a close eye on who is the best out there. And try to beat them.

  What is the most expensive thing you've bought in the last week?

In the last week? Hmmm. Probably a tank of Gas. Around $2,500, Roughly.

  What type of overcoat do you wear when Flashing, basically are you a labels man?

Polo. Only Polo.
