For me good inspiration (and creativity) comes from hard work and a set mind involving everything that surrounds you.

Please give us a brief bio of yourself.

I'm 29 years old and work as a flash developer at Great Works in Stockholm Sweden.

Four years ago I started making flash campaigns for various minor Swedish companies.

In 2002 I started my journey with ABSOLUT VODKA in the project ABSOLUT LEGENDS. Since that I have worked continuously with ABSOLUT and today all my time is dedicated to making the best brewer age site on the net. ABSOLUT.com.

What do you do for inspiration?

For me good inspiration (and creativity) comes from hard work and a set mind involving everything that surrounds you.

I don't think that inspiration is something you just get by watching movies, surfing the net, reading magazines and so on.

Please list 3 of your favourite sites.

http://www.google.com

http://www.wikipedia.org/

http://youtube.com/

What do you regard as being your biggest achievement?

My beautiful girlfriend, her support is what keeps me kicking.

What software couldn't you live without?

A web browser and my mail client

What projects do you have in the pipeline?

Except from deploying the Absolut website for all different markets, I am currently working on two big projects for ABSOLUT. Will keep you posted!

Who do you rate as being the top 3 design companies?

Except from Great Works I really enjoy the multimedia craftsmanship that North Kingdom delivers in all their campaign sites.

What effect on traffic do your new designs have?

It is always different depending on the message of the campaign and the client's needs.

  Who is your target audience?

See above.

What area of web design lacks the most?

I would say usability and typography

What did your very first site look like? Is it still online?

It was a "my name is and look at these fancy gif animations" kind of site. And no it's not online... (too bad)

Have you written any books, if not do you plan to?

I would like to. Maybe some teenage rubbish about growing up, getting drunk, romanticising about life and why we are what we are.

What was the toughest thing you ever did with Flash? How long did you spend on it? Is it still online?

I find challenges in all my projects but can't say that I have anything to brag about.

Do you think Flash is here to stay?

I really hope so, but not in the way it works today.

As it works now you need to be a good programmer to do sweet stuff in Flash. I really hope that will change, for the greater good.

What are your views on design/graphic school. Do you think someone can get into the field without educational experience in a school environment?

Yes absolutely. The understanding of design is always good, but without it you don’t get the boundaries that it sets.

How have you learned so many Flash/design skills and techniques and can you offer any advice for newbies?

Watch and learn. Trial and error.

What is the most expensive thing you've bought in the last week?

A train ticket to visit my parents. Around 100 dollars.

What type of overcoat do you wear when Flashing, basically are you a labels man?

All from naked at home to shirt and tie at work, or...?

Any parting shots or pearls of wisdom?

Be kind to each other!

It's been a privilege, thanks very much.

Thanks, PEACE!
