Please give us a brief bio of yourself.

My name is Jimmy Raheriarisoa aka Nerisson. The origins of my nickname are from my explosive haircut and "hérisson" is the french word for "hedgehog". So nice haircut and "Hérisson's" haircut give: Nerisson.

My life is totally normal: I was a student in electrical, I was a pro gamer in Street Fighter II Turbo, I learned playing guitar, I received a cat whose name is Angus (cf. Angus Young - AC/DC)

I love ponies, burgers, rock 'n' roll, Marvel, Bioman.

And I'm an Art director. Is that cool or not?

What do you do for inspiration?

At work, I listen some hardrock 80's music, or I look funny videos on Youtube.
At home, I do nothing for 10-15min on my bed.

What do you regard as being your biggest achievement?

Doing the job that I love.

How do you relax or unwind?

I play with my Epiphone dot 335. Trust me, you forget all, when you played with it.

If you weren't working on the internet what would you be doing?

I have a dream. It's to open a fast-food restaurant with pirates. With many varieties of burgers.
And each children's menu is composed with a treasure chest with toys designed by me. Imagine, "Captain Jim - the hunter burgers". It's marvellous! No? Ok...

Has winning Fwa awards helped you in any way?

Yes of course, to have an Fwa or another award, bring me more strength.
Awards is recognition, to have one is very good for our know-how.

What's your favourite part of your job? What's the hardest part of yout job? What do you when you get stuck?

My favourite part is to regroup elements for creating. To share our ideas are so cool to make good projects! And each one bring me knowledges.
The hardest part is when I'm stuck. And when I'm stuck, I go to play games with my phone.

What software could you not live without?

Fireworks.
I'm an old Photoshop user for Ui/Ux design and illustration. For me, multiple pages (with master page), symbols, styles, the couple vector & pixel, 9 slice-scaling, libraries... make Fireworks a powerful software.

In terms of software, is there anything new you have been playing with lately or that has impressed you?

Battlefield 3. Haha!

Who is your target audience?

I don't know... I don't have a set target. Depends on the project.

What did your very first site look like? Is it still online?

My first website was just a little big sh*t. It was my first portfolio...
If you want a description, it's very easy: all my works were made with filter's Photoshop and rainbow. I'm sorry but it's off-line forever.

Are there things you do OUTSIDE of work to ensure that you are in the right mindset to be creative and/or successful in whatever you are doing?

Playing guitar clears my head.

Looking 10 years in to the future, how far can websites go?

I don't know if the name "website" will be here. But I think some interactive content and games from internet will be accessible everywhere (irl) by holographic systems and augmented reality.

Do you think Flash is here to stay?

I don't know. It's a code war of developers.

What are your views on design/graphic school. Do you think someone can get into the field without educational experience in a school environment?

Design/Graphic schools are good, but if you want to level up your skills in creativity and use some stuff, personal training is necessary.
And if you don't want to go to school: books, internet and training are another solution. Anyway, take pleasure.

What would be your ultimate vehicle to travel in?

Batmobile

What country excites you the most in terms of innovation?

Actually, South of Korean with the Livepark 4D.

There must be a project that you have always dreamed of doing, what is it?

Yes, to build one of my monsters as a toy.

What is the most expensive thing you have bought in the last week?

Soul Calibur V... Sorry, I'm a geek...
