Job description
Less Rain is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Production Manager who loves building interactive content, applications and games.

You will be organizing staff, creating todo lists, communicating with clients, scheduling, budgeting and executing the creation of any project that lives in the digital world. You'll like to test stuff too!

In this position you'll be working closely with our team of developers, designers and freelancers. You'll have daily contact with our clients and will likely become good friends with them. Key tasks for this role include project planning, oversight of interactive project development (often on multiple projects) and resource / client management.

Less Rain is a digital production house, so you really need to be happy talking 'geek' with staff and freelancers - Air, Ruby, OpenFrameworks, Robotlegs and Xcode should mean something interesting to you! You might have some background in coding or really interested in how things work and how creativity and technology join forces to create stand-up work.

We'll encourage you to get involved from the first brief, you'll become part of the creative process so you'll feel a real sense of ownership of the work you manage and deliver. Finally, and this almost goes without saying, you'll be creative, self-motivated, solutions-driven and organized to ensure high quality work is delivered on time in a fast-paced environment. Industry experience at a recognized agency or production house is a must.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Take a creative idea from concepting through production, developing project scopes, schedules, budgets and functional specification documents including wireframes, site architectures, user flows and testing plans.
• Ability to take the lead of a project and manage a staff of developers, designers and freelancers to ensure deadlines and budget are met whilst exceeding clients' expectations.
• Organize and set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables, communicating clearly to a global team and providing proper materials/documentation as necessary to make everyones working lives that little bit easier.
• Experience with client relationships and account management would be great.

Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of HTML, Flash, and Adobe Creative Suite. A background in coding is a big plus.
• We're looking for a strong junior candidate or a mid-weight with at least 3 years of project/production management experience on medium to large sized projects, interfacing with Advertising agencies. Ideally you'll have worked in a production company like us before.
• Ability to lead well under pressure with good judgement in responding to changing priorities.
• Excellent decision-making skills and proactive in identifying potential problems and providing technical solutions. Can also identify future opportunities for any type of project.
• Many of our clients are not UK based. Strong communication skills with the ability to present succinct and clear information in verbal, written or visual form is a must.
