Job description

We are looking for an awesome Digital Designer to join our close-knit and exceptionally talented team producing award-winning work for the likes of Paramount Pictures, Universal, Warner Brothers, Fox, Red Bull, Netflix, Yahoo, and MSN. Tommy set the bar for online film advertising and we pretty well rock outside of the movie world as well.

Can you design and create the most cutting edge online advertising for major motion picture studios? Will you take pride in contributing to high-profile projects, yet leave your ego behind? Can we count on you to bring joy to the playlists and wit to the office banter at the same time? Are our minds going to be totally blown when we see your recent work? If so, you might be the best woman or man for this job.

Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Masterful Adobe Flash design and development skills
A portfolio of high caliber digital design work
Animation experience
An understanding of messaging, user-experience, and content communication
A passion for film and film advertising
Demonstrable experience with common ad servers for web and mobile including at least two of the following: Sizmek (formerly MediaMind), Eyeblaster, DoubleClick, Flashtalking, iAd, Celtra, Google ads
Advanced knowledge of video editing, encoding, optimization (After Effects, Premiere) for mobile and web
Creative concepting experience

Experience with APIs commonly used in creating web and mobile apps including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Maps, Instagram, Snapchat

How to apply

If you think you've got the skills, talent, and style to be our new Digital Designer, get in touch with our Operations Director at work@thisistommy.com. Send your CV and a link to your portfolio along with a cover letter email explaining why you are the greatest person for the job. Include your salary requirements and qualifications.

The successful candidate WILL NOT SEND US AN ENORMOUS PORTFOLIO EMAIL ATTACHMENT. You're a Digital Designer, send a link to your portfolio. It will also contain some examples of your flash work which won't come across in a PDF anyway, right?

This is a London-based job which involves coming to work in London every day. We are not offering sponsorship of UK Visas with this role. We are not aiming to outsource work outside of London or the UK.

Finally, please be aware that due to the large number of applications we often receive, we cannot necessarily respond to all candidates. We also will not be keeping details of unsuccessful candidates on file.

No recruiters, please. If we require your services we will be in touch.
