About the role
We are seeking an Art Director with a strong design portfolio and the ability to make a difference. You will be a key member of our award winning Deloitte Digital creative team and work across a range of digital projects. You will help lead a collaborative and passionate team of designers and build and foster an environment where the best ideas prevail.

You will be expected to work closely with the Creative Director, other designers, developers, project managers and clients to produce high-end digital design solutions and interactive concepts. You will also be providing quality control – including proofing, reviewing, measuring and evaluating creative team members and their work. You will provide quotes for time and resources for new projects, ensuring creative scope, schedule and budget are accurate and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

About your experience
• At least 5 years of industry experience with a strong folio of digital work.
• At least 2 years experience managing the creative development process in a client-services environment
• Strong working knowledge of interaction design, user centred experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process
• You should be strong conceptually with proficiency in translating and extending concepts across multiple online platforms.
• You are a team player who presents with confidence, gets the difference between good and great and is prepared to go beyond to raise the bar.

What we are looking for:
• Completion of a relevant degree qualification (design or multimedia preferred)
• User-centric approach to design and strong conceptual ability
• Meticulous with design details and attention to quality
• Up-to-date knowledge of current design interactive trends
• Ability to generate and design intelligent, inspirational concepts that are both uniquely creative and easy to use
• Confident in presenting work and comfortable interacting with clients
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• good eye for typography and grid systems
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Confident in presenting work and comfortable interacting with clients
• Team player – ability to work in large and diverse teams
• Bonus points for illustration and/or motion graphics experience
• Bonus points for active participation in the design community
